This series features Costa Rican clothing brand Matte Studio with LA based jewelry label Ian Charms. The pictures were taken on a beach in Costa Rica and aim to highlight the delicate feeling of the textiles, while matching the colors of the pieces of clothing with the nature of the background.
Matte: a result of how light is absorbed and not reflected by an object, a behaviour of a surface, the absence of shine, a color’s way of soaking light, or [as verb] to give a certain appearance to something.
